About me

My name is Julia and I have been an artist and storyteller since childhood. I love bringing writer's stories to life. I studied Illustration at Parsons School of Design in NYC and worked in the publishing industry for 10+ years. Former clients of mine include Enslow Publishing, Splashes of Hope and Singing Fish Productions. I also am a member of SCBWI and am co-president of BNCWI (Buffalo-Niagara Children's Book Writers and Illustrators). I love talking about children's books, the publishing industry and illustration.
