I create children's book illustrations and expressive character designs for picture books, self-publishing projects, and educational stories. My work focuses on diverse and multicultural characters, expressive facial expressions, natural poses, engaging storytelling, and warm illustrated environments. I develop characters and visual scenes that remain consistent throughout a story, from the initial character concept through multiple interior illustrations and book-cover artwork. I work with hand-drawn and painterly illustration techniques, including watercolor and gouache-inspired textures, to create warm and engaging visuals for children's books. My projects include multicultural children's stories, African American children's book characters, character expression and pose design, picture book scenes, family stories, and imaginative children's adventures. I focus on clear visual storytelling, character consistency, expressive emotions, and illustrations that are suitable for children's publishing and self-publishing projects.
