Do you edit LaTeX/Overleaf/Pages/Google Docs Resumes?
Yes I'm very familiar with LaTeX resumes, happy to edit directly on the LaTeX file! Also happy to edit using Pages or Google Docs
What if I don't understand the feedback?
No worries, feel free to message me during/after delivery to clear up anything I wrote or commented. I am happy to make sure you understand all the details of my review at no additional cost.
What kinds of tech roles do you specialize in?
I'd say I know most of them! I've applied to every kind of tech role before. I've interviewed and worked in robotics, hardware, computer vision, display processing, mobile and web development. I've done research and software engineering internships at university labs, startups and mega corporations.
How much time do you spend on the review?
On average, I will give your order my full focus for 4 hours on the resume per revision, 1 hour on the LinkedIn review and 1 hour on cover letter. I make sure to look at overall formatting, wording, technical details, impact and more to optimize every part of your resume to the max potential.
Do you write resumes from scratch?
This only applies for new templates and formatting, not content editing. Please message me if you'd like a resume from scratch and we can figure out an agreement based on what you have and what you're looking for. Typically I charge $50-100 extra for a resume from scratch.
What does unlimited revisions mean?
It means that within the scope of the initial resume's content (experiences, details) I will make as many changes and revisions as needed until you're completely satisfied with the final result. However, incorporating new information or details from when the order was placed would be extra charge.
Do you edit in English only?
Yes, I can communicate over message and discuss in English, French or Chinese but for the actual reviewing/editing of the resume and technical content I only use English to ensure the most accurate description of all comments and details.
Can I submit a PDF?
Yes, but I will need to convert it into a new template since it's nearly impossible to edit the content of a PDF directly. Sometimes additional work is needed but this is a case-by-case basis.
