About me
Hi, I'm Kaan. I'm in Toronto, and I came into software the long way around — I was running a flooring business, needed tools that didn't exist, so I started building them. That's still how I work. I want to understand the business before I write any code, because the right build usually isn't the one described in the brief. I say what I think, I'll tell you when something's a bad idea, and I don't go quiet mid-project.
Tell me what you're stuck on and I'll give you a straight answer either way.

Built a payment reconciliation tool that reads bank notification emails and matches e-Transfer payments to open invoices automatically. Handles partial payments, name mismatches, and missing reference numbers, and flags low-confidence matches for review instead of guessing.

Built and maintain 22flooring.ca end to end, plus the internal dashboard the business runs on. The site handles the public-facing catalog and lead capture; the dashboard pulls live job data from Jobber, GoHighLevel and Google Maps into one interface for scheduling, job tracking and reporting.
