I will build a custom django or fastapi backend

About this gig
I will build a Django or FastAPI backend (Python) with REST API endpoints, database design, authentication, and clean documentation.
Off-the-shelf tools make you adapt to their workflow. I build systems that fit yours instead.
What I build:
- REST APIs (Django or FastAPI) with documented endpoints
- Database design & models (PostgreSQL)
- Authentication & permissions
- Internal CRM/project-management tools projects, tasks, and data in one place
- Admin dashboards for managing records and users
- Background task processing (Celery + Redis/RabbitMQ)
- Deployment (Docker, Nginx, CI/CD)
Not included: front-end or UI/visual design I build the backend/API; your existing or new frontend connects to it.
The result: less time on manual workarounds, fewer disconnected tools, and a system that scales with you instead of needing to be replaced as you grow.
I have 5+ years building production systems like this internal platforms teams use daily to manage projects and data. You get clean, maintainable code, not a prototype that breaks under real use.
Message me with a rough description of the workflow that's enough for me to scope it and quote accurately.

FAQ
Which database — PostgreSQL, SQLite, or MongoDB?
PostgreSQL is my default — reliable and scales well for most projects. SQLite works for small tools or prototypes. MongoDB fits flexible, unstructured data like varied JSON records. I'll recommend the right one for your specific case.
Django or FastAPI — which is right for my project?
Django fits full apps needing an admin panel, auth, and ORM out of the box — faster for a complete CRM or internal tool. FastAPI fits lightweight, high-performance APIs or async workloads where you just need a data service, not a full app.
What kind of tasks can you handle?
Anything from a single API endpoint to a full internal system — CRMs, admin dashboards, data pipelines, third-party integrations, background jobs, and custom business logic. If it's Python backend work, message me and I'll confirm the fit.
What frontend does this work with, and what does that mean for me?
Django and FastAPI are backend/API frameworks — they work with any frontend: React, Vue, plain HTML, or a mobile app. Django can also render pages directly. I build the backend; your existing or new frontend connects to it via API.
What are the development stages, and how do we communicate?
You share requirements, I confirm scope within 24h, then build with progress updates at key milestones, and you review before final delivery. All communication happens through Fiverr messages — no silent weeks.
Is support after delivery included, or is that extra?
Premium includes 30 days of post-launch support for bug fixes and small adjustments — no extra charge. Basic and Standard don't include ongoing support; if you need help after delivery, I'm happy to discuss a separate maintenance arrangement.
How do revisions work?
Each package includes set revisions — Basic: 2, Standard: 2, Premium: 3 — covering adjustments within the original scope. Revisions are for refinements, not new features; new functionality gets scoped and quoted as an add-on.
