I will mix and master your hip hop rap or rnb records
About this gig
Hello there. I'm Kai, an Audio Engineer with 9 years of experience in mixing, mastering, vocal production, and audio editing. I've worked across Hip-Hop, Trap, R&B, Jazz, and Soul, helping artists achieve clean, punchy, and professional sound.
What I will execute:
- Professional Mixing & Mastering
- Unlimited Revisions
- Vocal EQ & Compression
- Auto-Tune / Pitch Correction (Optional)
- Stereo Imaging & Width Enhancement
- Reverb, Delay & Creative Effects
- Noise Reduction & Audio Cleanup
- Loudness Optimization for Spotify, Apple Music & YouTube
- High-Quality WAV & MP3 Files
I use industry-standard tools from Universal Audio, including the 1176 Compressor Collection, LA-2A Leveler Collection, and Pultec EQ Collection, monitored through Kali Audio LP-8 studio monitors for accurate translation across all listening systems.
I prefer not to use presets or automated processing. I prefer doing everything manually. Every mix is tailored to your song for maximum clarity, punch, balance, and commercial-quality sound.
Send your stems and a reference track, and let's turn your song into a release-ready record.

FAQ
What do I send you?
I'll need the exported Multi-Tracks or Stems from your recording project. I will also need them labelled. (E.g 01 Kick, 02 Snare 03 Hihat, 11 Main Vocal etc) for proper session management. If you're not sure how to do that you can contact me I will be happy to assist you.
How do I send the Files?
Put all stems/multitrack files in a Zip Folder. Ensure all files are there. Please add name of the Project along with the BPM of the song.
Can you do multiple songs for a discount?
Absolutely. You are more than welcome and you can contact me to agree on a price.
Does my "dry" recording need to sound good?
Yes please. The better the recording sounds the more room I have to work with, without having to fix issues like clicks and pops, distorted recordings and extremely loud recordings.
Why is my mix softer than my master?
The mix needs to have headroom (usually about -6dB) so that the mastering engineer can achieve an industry standard master recording that's suitable for all relevant platforms. It prevents overdriving the song. If you ordered the mix only, please not that your song will be soft.
Can you work with any genre?
Yes. Fundamentals only slightly change. The goal is mostly the same. Bring your records through.
Do I need to send a reference song?
Yes. Sending a song you want to sound similar to yours is like a map. It can be your favourite song or a song you know well. A reference song helps a lot.
