FAQ
What do you actually need from me before you can start on my shopify store?
Your store URL, the page or workflow that is failing, and a collaborator or staff invite with theme and app permissions. Never your password. For a claude code build I also need your theme name and any brand or product files you want used.
Can you fix a shopify store someone else built, or do you only build new ones?
Both. I take over half finished builds, broken themes and n8n automation someone else left behind, and I build from scratch in claude code. Send the store URL and I will say which route is the smaller job before you order.
Will this work with my current theme and the apps I already have installed?
In most cases yes. I write shopify liquid into your existing theme instead of replacing it, and I check your installed apps first because several inject their own code. If an app blocks the fix, you hear that before I start, not after.
My cart and checkout agent stopped answering last week. Can you fix that?
Usually, and usually the store itself is fine. Shopify retired the legacy Storefront MCP cart tools on 31 August, so an ai agent still calling them gets nothing back. I move you to UCP Cart MCP and rewire the shopify mcp calls in claude code.
Do you work directly on my live shopify website? I cannot afford it going down.
I work on a duplicate theme and test against your live store data, then publish only after you have seen it. If a change has to touch the published theme, I say so first and take a copy of the current version before editing.
What if you look at my shopify store and cannot actually fix the problem?
You find out before you order, which is why I diagnose first. If something unfixable only surfaces mid order, you get the root cause in writing plus whatever does work, and we settle it as a partial delivery or a cancellation.
How long will a shopify store build take, and how often will you update me?
Delivery here is 3 days for a fix, 5 for a build, 7 for the full stack. Those are my own terms for this gig, not an industry figure. I post an update at least once a day while an order is open and flag any slippage the day I see it.
How many revisions do I get, and do you help at all once the order closes?
2, 3 or 5 revisions by package. That is my stated policy rather than a market standard. A revision covers the scope we agreed up front. After delivery I answer questions on the shopify automation or build I shipped and hand over written notes.
Do I own the code and workflows, or am I locked into paying you every month?
You own all of it. The n8n automation runs in your own n8n account, your claude ai keys stay yours, and the shopify liquid sits in your theme. No retainer, nothing routed through me. Hosting or API usage is billed to you by that provider.
Can you move my wordpress or wix site to shopify, and which package covers it?
Yes. Migration plus a redesign shopify build sits in the middle package for up to five pages, and a full store with shopify mcp and ai agent wiring is the top one. Send your current site and page count and I will point you at the right tier.
