I start by discussing the task and any specific ideas you have in mind. I can draw object both from a photo and from your description (if it is something common). Then I create object in sketch according to the description. Once you approve the sketch, I'll draw the illustration in color. After coordinating the color, I create the final drawn illustration with the addition of volume and light and shade. I'll send you drafts at each stage for feedback and revisions.
