Worked as a freelance systems developer to modernize daily business operations for a regional Burger King franchise group. Built, tested, and maintained automated workflows using Make.com to connect inventory tracking, staff scheduling, basic marketing content delivery, customer follow-ups, and local lead generation into a single, smooth digital system. The goal was to remove manual paperwork, prevent human error, and save time for store managers. Core Responsibilities & Technical Setup 1. Automated Inventory Management Managed and updated raw material tracking systems across multiple store locations to minimize food waste and prevent stock shortages. By connecting cloud spreadsheets with internal store data via Make.com, inventory tracking shifted from manual counting to a real-time process. Low-Stock Alerts: Set up automated workflows that checked inventory levels every evening. If key items like beef patties, buns, or cooking oil dropped below safe levels, the system instantly sent an urgent notification via Slack or SMS to the store manager. Purchase Order (PO) Generation: Built a system where low-stock items automatically created a pre-filled draft order. Waste Tracking Form: Designed a simple digital form for kitchen staff to log daily food waste. Make.com compiled this data instantly into a monthly report, helping managers adjust their ordering habits. 2. Staff Management & Scheduling Workflows Improved team communication and simplified shift planning for a team of over 45 team members. Replaced manual text messages and paper schedules with automated alerts. Shift Change Automation: Created an online request system where employees could ask for shift trades. Once a manager clicked "Approve" inside their email, Make.com updated the master team calendar and automatically text-messaged both employees with the new schedule.
