Hi, I’m Kate M! I'm an actor, writer, director, and filmmaker with a background in performance and a passion for bold, character-driven storytelling.
My own filmmaking work spans horror, satire and drama, with a particular interest in stories that are visually distinctive, emotionally grounded, and a little unconventional.
My background as an actor also gives me a strong understanding of characters, and what makes a scene actually work on screen. I write with performance and production in mind, creating scripts that aren't just interesting to read, but are designed to be brought to life.
