Get expert guidance to help you draft your full manuscript! These coaching sessions are personalized based on YOUR book. We will discuss the topics YOU need most help with, including (but not limited to) finding your writing voice, passive vs. active voice, engaging your reader, getting your manuscript ready for publishing, and adding value that makes your book stand out.
What to expect:
First session - Talk fundamentals. This is where we will drill down your target audience and purpose for the book. Then, we will work through your table of contents. I will send you a form to fill out ahead of time to maximize our time together. We'll also discuss drafting your first chapter.
Second session - You'll send me a draft of your first chapter ahead of time, and we'll talk about your progress, challenges, and strengths. This will set us up for the rest of the coaching engagement. If you are doing the basic package, this is where that ends.
Future sessions - I will review your chapters with you in each session. If you keep up with the program, you will have a full manuscript by the end.
Editing available with premium package or as a later add-on.

FAQ
Will you get me published?
No. Coaching will get you a draft of a manuscript. From there, it will need to be edited before it can be submitted to a publisher. I can recommend a few publishers, but I do not do publishing myself.
How frequently would we meet for coaching sessions?
To complete 10 sessions in 90 days, we would have to meet pretty much every week. If we need to extend it by 30 days, we can do so after the order is placed. Coaching is best for those who are serious about drafting their manuscript and having it ready for publishing within 4-6 months.
What is your approach to book coaching?
My approach stems from my 17 years of teaching college Composition. I treat coaching like a more intense office hours, where I give your draft individualized attention and identify where you can strengthen it. I act as an advocate for your reader and will be honest when things don't land well.
Are you just going to tell me what I want to hear?
Probably not. I see my role as making your book as enjoyable and valuable as possible for your reader. So, I will be candid in telling you what is and is not working and offering suggestions for improvement.
