About this Gig
Sometimes an outside perspective is all we need to make our stories better.
How I work:
- I will read through your manuscript and leave comments about my first impressions and emotional reactions while reading.
- After every chapter, I will write a short reaction summary in a seperate reader report, so you can see if your chapter worked for me in general or not.
- I will take notes about your characters, their arcs and the plot development while reading. I will then write those up in my reader report after finishing your manuscript.
- I dont use AI in the process, all reactions and thoughts are my own.
What you get out of it:
- Clients find my comments encouraging and empathic. I also write a lot of comments, so you know exactly what reactions your story evokes in a reader. If a scene or chapter failed to move me in any way, I will write that too of course!
- My feedback is thorough & actionable. I was told it helped to know which parts to improve and how to make the story even better.
- I'm honest and don't shy away from giving negative/constructive feedback either. You will not only know what worked for me, but also what didn't
- I won't skim (but I will tell you where I wanted to)

How much will betareading cost me, if my book falls between 10.000 and 100.000 words?
I take 0,0023cent per word, so 10.000 words for 23$, 20.000 for 46$, ... If you need a custom offer, don't hesitate to reach out! I give a slight discount for longer works over 100.000
