I will build a production ready mcp server for your API or database

About this gig
I build custom MCP servers that connect your AI agent to your own data your database, your API, your internal tools.
Anyone can ship an MCP prototype. Most break in production: vague tool descriptions make the model call the wrong tool, exceptions crash the session instead of returning a usable error, and write operations fire twice on a retry. I build the version that survives real use.
WHAT YOU GET
Server built on the latest spec
Typed tool schemas with validated inputs
Tool descriptions written so the model routes correctly
Structured error returns, not crashes
Idempotent writes, pagination, scoped access
Docker deploy + ready client config files
Full source code you own all of it
WORKS WITH
PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Stripe, Notion, Slack, GitHub, Linear, Shopify, or any REST/GraphQL API. Built in TypeScript or Python.
Message me with your system and I'll tell you honestly whether it's a fit before you order.

FAQ
What's the difference between the three packages?
Basic is read-only: 4 tools, one data source, runs locally. Standard adds write operations, 10 tools, hosted access with auth, Docker deploy and a written runbook. Premium covers 3 systems, 20 tools, OAuth 2.1, rate limiting, request logging and a routing test suite.
What is an MCP server and do I actually need one?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that lets AI assistants call your systems directly. Build one server and Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and Copilot can all use it, instead of building a separate integration for each. If your team is pasting data into an AI chat by hand, you need
Which databases and APIs can you connect?
PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Supabase, and any REST or GraphQL API. Common SaaS targets include Stripe, Notion, Slack, GitHub, Linear, HubSpot and Shopify. If your system has documented endpoints, it can be MCP-enabled. Undocumented or legacy APIs are still doable but add time, tell me up front.
Will this work with Claude Desktop, Cursor and ChatGPT?
Yes. I deliver ready-to-paste config for each client you use, including the mcpServers block for Claude Desktop and Claude Code. Local servers use stdio transport; remote servers use Streamable HTTP per the current spec. I don't ship the deprecated HTTP+SSE transport.
How do you keep the server secure?
Least-privilege scoping per tool rather than per server, validated inputs on every call, no token passthrough (explicitly prohibited by the spec), and secrets kept out of tool responses and logs. Premium adds OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and per-user scoping. I'll also flag it if your requested tool combinat
Do I own the code, and can my team maintain it?
You own everything, full source, no licence, no lock-in. Standard and Premium include a written runbook covering deployment, adding a new tool, and rotating credentials. If you'd rather I keep maintaining it, there's a monthly support extra.
Can you fix or upgrade an MCP server I already have?
Yes, and it's common. Usual jobs: migrating off the deprecated SSE transport, rewriting tool descriptions when the model keeps picking the wrong tool, adding idempotency to write operations, and fixing servers that return so much data they blow the context window.
