FAQ
Can you impliment already existing systems from other plugins?
Yes, I can integrate with other plugin APIs. I also have experience working with APIs such as ProtocolLib, packetevents, ModelEngine, LibsDisguises, FastAsyncWorldEdit (FAWE), and EssentialsX (just to name a few). If a plugin uses a different API, I can learn and work with it as needed.
How many revisions do we get?
As many as needed within the original scope! Revisions cover adjustments to features agreed upon before development. New features or major changes are considered additional work and may require an extra fee. I’m happy to work with you to make sure the final product meets your needs.
What if I find a bug?
Bugs reported within 7 days are fixed for free, if present at delivery. Issues caused by updates, plugin conflicts, or external changes are not included. Support after 7 days or outside scope is billed.
Can you make a plugin that works for Geyser (or any other crossplay between Java and Bedrock)?
My plugins are made for Paper Java servers. They might work with Geyser or other crossplay tools, but I cannot guarantee it. If issues arise specifically from Bedrock players, resolving them would be considered additional work and may require an extra fee.
Can I sell the plugin?
Yes. Upon delivery, you have full rights to use, modify, and sell the plugin. No additional fees are required. However, ongoing support, updates, or custom changes are not included unless agreed separately.
What is Paper?
Paper (also known as PaperMC) is a high-performance Minecraft server platform. It enhances gameplay by optimizing performance and introducing advanced features and APIs. You can learn more about it at https://papermc.io/
Why not use Spigot?
The server software you use really all comes down to preference. I prefer to use Paper due to its more intuitive API design choices. It's also the most widely used server software. The plugins I develop will only work on Paper or most Paper forks (like Purpur, Pufferfish, etc).
Can you develop a Folia plugin?
Yes! I can develop plugins for Folia. Please note that pricing is typically higher than standard Paper development due to the added complexity.
Can you work with older Paper versions?
I generally develop for the latest Paper version and the 2 previous versions. Minecraft evolves constantly, and I intend to evolve with it. Support for older versions may be possible for an additional fee.
