How is pricing calculated for long narration projects?
In long narration, this is called PFH (per finished hour). A finished hour means I have recorded, edited, and mastered the file for final production. One finished hour is around 3 hours of work. Pricing is such that my PFH will be $150. One finished hour averages to around 9,000 words.
How do you handle delivery times for audiobooks or eLearning modules?
Delivery time shown is for up to 9,000 words. Longer scripts will require more time (e.g., 18,000 words = 5 days). Message me for exact turnaround based on your total word count.
Do you offer free auditions or samples?
Of course! Every author tends to have a voice in their mind....so of course I can record a short audition (a few lines from your script) so you can hear how I’d approach the project before ordering.
Are revisions included?
Yes. I will send a 15 minute checkpoint to you for you to check my tone and pacing. Once you approve that, I will proceed with the rest of the book/module based upon that 15 minute blessing. I always include revisions based on narrator error. If there are script changes, we can discuss.
What kind of audio quality do you deliver?
I record with professional gear (Sennheiser 416 + Scarlett Solo) in a Whisper Room Booth. You’ll receive clean, ACX-compliant broadcast-quality WAV or MP3 files, based on what you need.
