About this Gig
If you are a writer who needs outside accountability in order to hit your deadlines, I can help!
I am a professional author (trad published as well as self-published) who has 10+ years of experience in the industry. I have written multiple novels and serials, and have coached many authors along every stage of their journey.
Every package includes an initial coaching session to establish your goals and discuss your writing plans, along with a set number of check-ins by email. This is not punitive accountability, only positive reinforcement! I will cheer you on when you hit your goals, and I will be a shoulder to cry on if you don't. We can track by word count, by time spent writing, or by page count. Whether your deadlines are external or set by you for you, working with me will insure you meet them.

Do you offer beta/editing services?
I'm a great writer, but not really a great editor. I hire editors myself for my own work!
Do you offer story development services?
Not as part of this gig. If you want to talk about plot and character development, let me know, we can set up a custom gig for you.
What happens if I don't hit my daily/set goal?
Honestly? Nothing punitive. I'm not here to punish you, and I understand that life gets in the way of writing sometimes. However I will ask you why you missed your goal, and will work with you to find solutions so you can stay on track!
Do you help with writer's block?
YES! I know how debilitating writer's block can feel, and I have worked with a lot of writers suffering from it. No two writer's blocks are the same, though. We'll have to talk it out. If I don't think I can help you, I'll be honest about that and suggest other options to help you.
