Got two spreadsheets that need to become one? I merge Excel and CSV files and match records between them using VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP, so every row lines up with the right data.


What I do:

  • Merge 2 or more Excel/CSV files into one clean sheet
  • Match records on a key column (ID, email, SKU, name) with VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP
  • Remove duplicates and fix inconsistent formatting (dates, spacing, capitalization)
  • Fill in missing values from your other files wherever a match exists
  • Flag rows that can't be matched so nothing is silently dropped


What you get: a clean .xlsx or .csv file, plus a short note on what was matched, what was filled and what couldn't be matched.
