I previously worked full-time with a UK-based property management company, Estates, where I held the position of Team Leader overseeing the daily operations of short-term rental properties. I managed and guided a team of five to six professionals, ensuring all operational activities ran smoothly throughout the workweek, Monday to Friday. My role involved end-to-end guest support, from initial inquiries to post-stay follow-ups, along with close coordination with maintenance staff and cleaning teams. I also served as a key liaison for property owners and landlords, making sure their properties were well-managed and standards were consistently met. In my leadership role, I was responsible for task allocation, scheduling, performance tracking, and team support. I regularly addressed operational challenges, resolved escalations, and made informed decisions to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and owner trust. This experience enhanced my leadership capabilities, strengthened my problem-solving and communication skills, and allowed me to effectively manage people, workflows, and operations in a fast-paced short-term rental environment.
