Project: Statistical learning for soil microbiome prediction Collected, cleaned, structured, and transformed environmental and metagenomic data to build a labelled soil microbiome dataset. Organised and queried environmental and metagenomic data in PostgreSQL. Performed statistical analyses, including redundancy analysis and variation partitioning. Studied, applied, and evaluated various clustering methods for classifying soils based on their physical and chemical properties. Studied, applied, and evaluated species distribution models. Studied, implemented, and evaluated state-of-the-art multi-label classification methods. Developed a novel multi-label learning algorithm to predict soil microbiome from a small set of observations. Studied dimensionality reduction techniques for multi-objective optimization problems and proposed an original approach. Developed software and scripts in R and Python.
