What information do you need to start?
Your WordPress login and the page where the error shows up. If it's a hosting or server issue, I may ask for that access too. Tell me what you were doing when it broke, that helps me find it faster.
Will you back up my site first?
Yes, always. I back up your full site before I change anything. If anything goes wrong, I can put it straight back. Your site is never at risk while I work.
Do you fix the root cause or just hide the error?
I fix the root. Hiding an error only means it comes back later, often worse. I trace it to the real cause and fix that, so the problem is actually gone.
What if the same error comes back?
If the same error returns from my fix, I'll sort it at no extra cost, just message me. A brand-new issue from a different plugin or update counts as a separate fix, but I'll always tell you straight which one it is.
