I will design ai smart glasses pcb with esp32 plus camera rigid flex pcb plus firmware
Pcb design
About this Gig
Is your smart glasses prototype stuck on a dev board that will never fit in a temple arm? I design compact AI smart glasses PCBs for camera, audio, sensors and low-power wireless, built around your chosen SoC or module.
What I design:
system block diagram, schematic, component selection and PCB layout for temple-fit main boards and flex or rigid-flex interconnects to camera, Battery, microphones, speaker and touch or button inputs. Platforms: ESP32-S3, nRF52 or nRF5340, STM32 and SoM-based designs.
Wearable specific engineering:
- Battery charging and power path design
- low quiescent current
- Thermal and skin contact awareness
- MIPI CSI-2 or SPI camera routing
- PDM or I2S audio
- Antenna keep out planning
- ESD protection and DFM review.
What You Will receive:
Schematic PDF, layout, Gerbers, drill and flex stackup notes, BOM, pick and place file, assembly drawing and design notes. Native source files and 3D STEP come with higher packages.
Firmware, AI models, enclosure design, certification and assembly are quoted separately.
Message me your SoC or module, interfaces, battery size and temple dimensions before ordering.
FAQ
What kinds of smart glasses can you design for?
Camera glasses, audio-first AI glasses and sensor-based eyewear. Display (AR) optics, waveguides and micro-displays are outside my scope, although I can design the board that drives a display module you supply
Which processors and modules do you support?
ESP32-S3, nRF52, nRF5340, STM32 and SoM-based designs. Tell me your choice and I will confirm the interfaces before starting.
Can the glasses run AI on the device?
I design the hardware for whatever processing you choose, but model size and battery life determine what is realistic. Small keyword or vision models suit low power MCUs; larger models need an application processor or a phone or cloud link.
Which CAD software do you use, and what files do I get?
KiCad, Altium Designer or EasyEDA. You receive Gerbers, drill files, BOM, pick-and-place and an assembly drawing, plus native source files and 3D STEP in Standard and Premium.
Do you design flex and rigid-flex?
Yes, in Standard (one flex tail) and Premium (rigidflex). I provide stackup notes for your fabricator. Fabricators vary, so I confirm their rules before layout.
Can you modify or review my existing glasses PCB?
Yes. Send the files and a description of the problem. I review first and quote a custom offer
Do you do firmware, enclosure, certification or complex custom projects?
Bring-up support is an extra. Firmware, enclosure design, RF certification and battery safety testing are quoted separately. Message me before ordering for complex or custom requirements.
