I will develop embedded linux device tree and kernel drivers for your board
Embedded and IT Engineer
About this Gig
I bring up peripherals on embedded Linux boards: device tree, kernel modules and drivers.
When a sensor, display or interface does not appear under Linux, the cause is usually the device tree, a missing driver, or a kernel config. That is the work I do.
WHAT I CAN DO
Device tree nodes and overlays for I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO and PWM devices
Out-of-tree kernel modules and platform drivers
Porting an existing driver to your kernel version
Kernel config and boot log debugging
Yocto and Buildroot recipe issues
Getting a peripheral to enumerate and stay stable
HOW IT WORKS
Send me your board, kernel version, the device you are bringing up and its datasheet. Ideally your dmesg output too. You get the source, build instructions and an explanation of what was actually wrong.
WHAT YOU GET
Full source, yours to keep
Tested against your kernel version where I can reproduce your setup
The root cause in writing, not just a patch
Boards I work with include Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, Xilinx Zynq and NXP i.MX.
Tell me what isn't showing up and I'll tell you whether I can fix it.
