Academia has always been my passion: I have the intense hyperfocus and attention span needed for in-depth empirical research projects, academic writing, data science, and programming. This passion led me to study linguistics and language technology at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. I am a long-term research assistant on a lexicography project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. In this role, I am directly involved in data collection, management, and annotation. I also assist the IT specialist by writing Python scripts for our database. Furthermore, I am involved in organising renowned, international conferences and reviewing abstract submissions for them.
