How do you ensure my SAP database and credentials stay secure?
Security is my top priority. I never hardcode credentials in the application. All connection string data and passwords are encrypted and stored securely using Environment Variables or App Settings secrets. I also perform all initial testing in your staging/test environment first.
Do you use the Service Layer or the DI API for integrations?
I highly recommend and primarily use the SAP B1 Service Layer (REST API) because it is modern, fast, and does not require a local client installation. However, if your setup requires the legacy DI API or DI Server, I can utilize those as well.
Which versions of SAP Business One and databases do you support?
I support integrations for both SAP HANA and Microsoft SQL Server backend databases. I work with SAP B1 version 9.x and 10.x.
Do I need to provide access to my SAP Business One environment?
Yes. To configure, test, and deploy the integration, I will need access to your SAP B1 staging/test environment. This is typically done securely via VPN, Remote Desktop (RDP), or by exposing the Service Layer port externally with restricted developer credentials.
