GitOps Infrastructure for a MERN Todo App on AWS EKS — Personal Project • Designed and deployed production-grade CI/CD pipelines and GitOps infrastructure on AWS EKS using an App-of-Apps ArgoCD pattern, managing AWS ACM /cert-manager, Prometheus, Grafana, EBS CSI driver, and custom Helm charts for the React frontend, Node.js backend, and MongoDB • Built a full observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Open-Telemetry) with Alert manager routing to email and Slack by severity • Implemented a cost-optimized 2-AZ VPC/EKS architecture with a MongoDB replica set (2 data members + 1 arbiter) and cluster-AutoScaler for dynamic node scaling • Diagnosed and resolved production incidents including ArgoCD sync-wave deadlocks, ALB provisioning failures, MongoDB replica set recovery, and probe misconfigurations causing stuck backend pods • Maintained a two-repo GitOps layout separating Helm charts from ArgoCD Application manifests, with environment-specific values files
