In a proofread I complete a surface-level edit to catch any spelling or grammar errors in your short story manuscript. This doesn't include sentence restructuring like the line edit, but is merely a once over final polish to help get that short story submission ready.

The line edit is a much more detailed and thorough edit where I address sentence structure and clarity, make suggestions for consistent tone throughout, and improve the readability of the short story.

I love science fiction, fantasy, and horror, but I'll also read romantasy and some historical fiction. I love cowboys, vikings, grimdark, fairytales, and mythology retellings. I typically only read contemporary fiction if it has a horror bend and I avoid memoirs at all costs.
