I will migrate your custom or legacy ecommerce store to shopify or shopify plus

About this gig
Older platforms rarely export everything. Shift4Shop drops custom fields, Weebly routes product URLs by ID, Volusion keeps your images on its own servers, and osCommerce has no export screen at all. I extract from the database, the API or the live site instead, so nothing is left behind.
I am a US-based Shopify Plus Partner (Ruby Digital Agency) with 100+ migrations to Shopify, including Gone Green (Shift4Shop), Grace & Taylor (Weebly) and Volusion, custom PHP and hand-built stores.
What moves to Shopify:
- Products, options and images, redesigned where the old platform used price rules
- Customers and order history, with original order numbers, refunds and tracking
- Pages and blog posts
- 301 redirects for every old URL format, including ID and .asp addresses
Not sure your platform is covered? Send me the URL and I will tell you what can be moved.
I build in a free Shopify development store, so you pay Shopify nothing until launch, and you get reconciliation reports to check every figure before go-live.
Please message me before ordering. I will look at your store and confirm the right package, or send a custom offer.

FAQ
Which platforms can you migrate from?
Shift4Shop (3dcart), Weebly and Square Online, Volusion, osCommerce, Zen Cart, X-Cart, Miva, custom PHP or ASP stores and many others. If it has a database or an API, the data can be moved.
My platform has no proper export. Is that a problem?
No. Where the export is thin or missing, I work from the database, the API or the live site, which is how custom fields, category trees and old URLs come across intact.
Can you keep my order numbers?
Yes. Orders keep their original numbers and dates, and refunded orders are imported as refunded rather than paid.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Not if the redirects are done properly. Every product, category, page and blog URL gets a 301 redirect to its new Shopify address, and I test them before launch. Titles and meta descriptions move with the products.
Will my store be offline during the move?
Your current store stays live while I build. At launch the domain switch usually means an hour or less of interruption, timed for your quietest period.
Will my customers need to sign up again?
No. Customer accounts move with their addresses and order history. Shopify's new customer accounts sign in with a one-time email code, so customers just enter their email address.
Do I pay Shopify during the build?
No. As a Shopify Plus Partner I build in a free development store, so you pay Shopify nothing until the store goes live.
