I will design specific primer pairs for genes

I am a professional Geneticist specialized in designing primers for specific genes for variation analysis. Designing a appropriate primer is very crucial step in gene-related researches. Along with the primers, I will provide specifications such as approximate temperatures to facilitate PCR.

I utilize a variety of bioinformatics tools to design primers for PCR applications. Some of the software I frequently use includes

• Ensemble
• NCBI
• Primer3
• UCSC Browser

Factor Analysis: While primer designing I focus on sequences for optimal performance by taking into account factors such as melting temperature (Tm), GC content etc.

Specificity Evaluation: Using above mentioned bioinformatics tools I also concentrate on primer specificity to prevent annealing at unintended regions.

The primers will be compatible and easier to optimize, though the temperature provided will be an estimate. You may need to optimize it by gradient PCR.

Note: I only design primers utilizing online Databases, don't synthesize primers chemically.
