FAQ
Will it work in both Google Sheets and Excel?
Yes. We deliver an .xlsx file. Open it in Excel, or upload it to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets. We only use formulas that work in both apps. Charts can look a little different between the two.
Can it connect to my accounts and import transactions automatically?
No. You type or paste transactions yourself. If you send just the column headers from your usual export (no real data), we can lay out the Transactions tab so a paste lines up.
Is this financial advice?
No. It is a tracking tool. We don't give tax, legal, investment or debt advice, and the file doesn't recommend what you should do with your money.
Do you use AI?
Yes. Every file is designed by us with the help of AI tools. AI helps us draft layouts, formulas and instructions, then we customize, test and check every file ourselves. We don't offer no-AI orders.
Can you add macros or Apps Script?
Not right now. Leaving them out keeps the file working the same in both apps and safe to open.
What counts as a revision?
Changes within the agreed scope: renaming, reordering, adding or removing categories, formatting tweaks and fixes. New tabs or features are a gig extra or a custom offer.
Do you need my real financial information?
No, please don't send it. Sample numbers are all we need. Never send passwords, account numbers or statements.
Why is delivery 4 to 10 days?
Delivery is 4 days for Basic, 6 for Standard and 10 for Premium. We keep our weekly order count small and test every formula. If you have a deadline, message us first.
Can I edit the file later?
Yes. Every tab is editable, and the Instructions tab explains which cells are inputs and which are formulas.
