What SQL Server issues can you help fix?
I can troubleshoot T-SQL errors, incorrect results, joins, filters, stored procedure logic and slow queries. My focus is query-level fixes and optimisation, not whole-server administration.
Which package should I choose?
Basic covers 1 simple query fix. Standard covers up to 3 queries OR 1 small stored procedure. Premium covers up to 5 queries OR 2 small stored procedures. Standard and Premium include optimisation and analysis.
What counts as one SQL query?
One query means one reasonably scoped SQL statement or closely related fix. Long multi-step scripts, complex dynamic SQL and substantial procedures may require a custom quote. Message me if you're unsure.
What do you need from me to get started?
Please send your SQL code, the error or actual versus expected result, relevant table definitions and anonymised sample data. For slow queries, execution plans and timings help if available. Please don't share passwords or sensitive records.
Do you need access to my database?
Usually not. I can work with scripts, table definitions, anonymised data and execution plans. If direct access is necessary, we can agree a secure, authorised approach first. Live database changes are not included by default.
Can you guarantee faster SQL queries?
I can't promise a specific speed increase without testing in your environment. I'll review the query and available performance evidence, make scoped improvements where possible and explain any remaining limitations.
Will you test the SQL changes?
I'll test against the supplied schema and safe sample data where possible, and explain anything I couldn't verify. The SQL Test Script extra provides a separate reusable test script; basic testing is already included.
Can you fix stored procedures too?
Yes. Standard covers 1 small stored procedure instead of its query allowance; Premium covers up to 2 small stored procedures. Large or complex procedures may need a custom offer, so message me before ordering.
What is included in the Index Review extra?
I'll review available index information and execution evidence for one query, then provide recommendations. This extra does not include applying index changes to a live production database.
How do revisions and delivery times work?
Basic includes 2 revisions and 2-day delivery; Standard 3 revisions and 3 days; Premium 4 revisions and 5 days. Revisions cover agreed work, not new features. Extra-fast delivery is available at checkout.
