I will migrate squarespace 7 0 to 7 1 with fluid engine
Lek
About this gig
Your Squarespace 7.0 site should not have to stay behind just because the upgrade feels risky. I provide a structured Squarespace migration that moves your existing site to 7.1 while carefully rebuilding pages, checking layouts, and protecting important SEO elements.
What I handle:
- Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1 migration and content transfer
- Fluid Engine page rebuilds, spacing, alignment, and responsive fixes
- Navigation, headers, footers, forms, blog, portfolio, and basic store content
- SEO review, metadata checks, URL structure review, and redirect planning
- Desktop, tablet, and mobile testing before handoff
- Cleanup of layout issues, custom CSS conflicts, and visual inconsistencies
Why this Gig:
I treat migration as a controlled rebuild, not a simple copy-and-paste task. Your current structure and brand direction guide the new 7.1 setup, and I check every page for usability and consistency.

I’m a Squarespace specialist helping podcasts, creators, contractors, home-service businesses, restaurants, and growing brands turn their online presence into a stronger business asset. I create podcast media kits & creator press hubs, local contractor lead-generation platforms, modernize Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1 websites, and build restaurant online menus with third-party delivery portals. My focus is clean UX, conversion-focused structure, SEO-ready content, mobile performance, and easy customer journeys built around your goals, brand, and audience.
FAQ
Will my Squarespace 7.0 website be redesigned during the migration?
The migration can preserve the existing visual direction, or the site can be modernized during the rebuild. The package you select determines the level of redesign included.
Will my content be lost during the migration?
The goal is to preserve your important pages, text, images, blog, portfolio and other supported content. I review the site structure before rebuilding and test the migrated pages afterward.
Will my SEO rankings be protected?
I review SEO titles, descriptions, URL structures and redirect requirements as part of the migration process. No migration can guarantee unchanged
Will my website go offline?
The existing live website can remain available while the new 7.1 version is being prepared, depending on the project setup and Squarespace access.
Can you fix broken layouts after moving to 7.1?
Yes. I can address Fluid Engine spacing, overlapping elements, alignment problems, responsive issues, navigation problems and supported custom CSS issues.
Can you modernize my old Squarespace design too?
Yes. The Standard and Premium packages include progressively larger redesign and modernization scopes.
Can every Squarespace 7.0 feature be transferred exactly?
Not necessarily. Some older-template features or custom implementations may need to be manually recreated or adapted for Squarespace 7.1. I will identify those items before work begins.
