The project reinforced my belief that a successful eCommerce website must do more than look professional. It should also be easy to manage, technically reliable, and convenient for visitors.

One of the biggest challenges I encountered during a website migration project was transferring an established eCommerce store from Wix to WordPress without affecting its existing product information, website structure, or search engine visibility. The client was concerned about broken product links, missing images, lost SEO metadata, and disruptions to customer access. I approached the project by auditing the existing website, mapping important URLs, and preparing a structured migration plan. I transferred the product catalog into WooCommerce, checked product descriptions, categories, images, and variations, and configured 301 redirects for URLs that needed to change. I also tested navigation, responsive layouts, and essential website functions before launch. This experience strengthened my approach to website migration: protect important data, test thoroughly, communicate clearly, and prioritize a smooth transition.
