FAQ
What file types can you work with?
xlsx, xls, csv, tsv, txt and Google Sheets links. I can also take a JSON or database export and turn it into a clean spreadsheet. Send me the file before ordering if your format is unusual and I'll confirm in a few hours whether it's a fit.
How many rows can you handle?
Basic covers up to 5,000 rows, Standard up to 50,000, Premium any size. I clean large files with Python and pandas rather than by hand, so a million rows is fine. Big files take a little longer, but they don't get less accurate.
How fast do I get it back?
Basic is 1 day, and most single-file jobs come back the same day I receive the file. Standard is 2 days, Premium 4. The clock starts when your file arrives, so attach it with the order and add extra fast delivery if you're tight.
Will my formulas break?
No. I work on a copy of your file, keep your existing formulas and references intact, and test them after the cleanup. If something was already broken or pointing at a deleted row, I fix it and flag it in the delivery notes so nothing is a surprise.
Can you merge several files into one?
Yes. I combine files that have different column orders, headers or layouts into one consistent sheet, and I add a source column so you can always trace a row back to the file it came from. Up to 3 files on Standard, 10 on Premium.
Can you remove duplicate records?
Yes, exact duplicates and fuzzy near-duplicates too, so Jon Smith, jon smith and Jon Smith are recognised as one person. You get a separate tab listing every row that was removed, so you can check the calls before you trust the file.
Do you work in Google Sheets as well as Excel?
Both. Share a Sheet with edit access, or upload an Excel file. I can convert between the two and keep the formatting and formulas working in whichever one you actually use day to day. Tell me which you want back.
Can you automate this so I never redo it?
Yes, and that's the point of Premium. You get a reusable script you own, Apps Script for Google Sheets or Python or a macro for Excel, that reruns the whole cleanup on next month's export in one click. It's also available as an extra on any package.
Is my data kept confidential?
Yes. Your files are never shared or reused, and I delete my working copies after delivery if you ask. You can also opt out of Fiverr's work-screenshot feature. If the data is sensitive, send an anonymised sample and I'll work from that.
