- Please provide a completely edited manuscript in a Word Google document to begin the book design process. - Also, indicate any specific design preferences you would like to have. - State preferred trim size and let me know if you have a special formatting requirement. - Images should be in Hi-Res
How long does the book design process take?
The book design timeline varies based on your manuscript's complexity and number of words. This will be communicated once I review your manuscript.
Can I see samples of your previous work?
Yes, I can provide samples of my previous book design projects upon request.
Do you offer revisions if I am not satisfied with the initial design?
Absolutely. I offer a set number of revisions (typically 3-5 rounds) to ensure you are completely satisfied with the product. Additional revisions can be accommodated at the discussed fee.
What format will I receive my final files in?
You will receive the final files in industry-standard formats. For print books, you will get a high-resolution PDF ready for printing. For e-books, I provide files in EPUB compatible with major e-book platforms. If you need any other specific formats, please let me know.
How do you ensure the quality of the design and layout?
I ensure design quality through detailed initial consultations, I use Adobe InDesign which is the industry standard, offers multiple rounds of proofing and revisions, and a final review and quality check to meet professional standards before delivery.
What if I need additional services like editing?
While my primary focus is on book design, I have a network of professional editors and proofreaders I work with. If you need these services, I can coordinate with these professionals to provide a seamless experience.
