About this gig

Hi! I'm Luis, NYC-based guitarist, composer, and educator with degrees from Berklee College of Music (B.M.) and the Manhattan School of Music (M.M.). Some of my performance highlights include performing at Carnegie Hall (NYC), FITUR (Spain), Festival Internacional de Salterio (Mexico), and MIJA Jazz Festival (Texas).


I work with students from beginner to advanced levels. Lessons are personalized and may focus on guitar technique, repertoire across different styles, improvisation, composition/songwriting, music theory, and more. All lessons are followed by written notes on topics covered, music listening/reading suggestions, what to work on going forward, and expectations.
