I will format your book for print and ebook

About this gig
This package is ideal for novelettes, novellas, and short novels, as well as memoirs and technical manuals without many graphics. The basic package includes the book interior completely formatted for print-on-demand, as a PDF file ready to upload to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Lulu. You also receive a separate EPUB file for uploading as an eBook.
I believe in keeping things simple. Many book designers offer to provide the "source file" with their finished work, but that source file is usually an Adobe InDesign file that can only be opened by someone with a subscription to InDesign (EXPENSIVE!). I prefer to deliver a PDF that's ready to upload, plus the final, formatted copy of the original manuscript in Microsoft Word .docx format so that the author can open the file and work with it, or use it as a template for the next book.
I do not use AI for either editing or book design (layout/formatting).

FAQ
What about the ISBN?
Ideally, you should purchase your own ISBN from whoever distributes ISBNs in your country. This allows the ISBN to be entered on the copyright page immediately. If you use a free ISBN from Amazon, you have to upload a "dummy" manuscript, get the ISBN, revise the manuscript, and upload it again.
What kinds of files can I send you?
For the manuscript, I prefer a Microsoft Word (.docx) file, which most word processors can create. I can also accept files in .doc, .rtf, and .odt format. Graphics (images) should be in .jpg/.jpeg or .png format, at 300 dots per inch resolution.
What trim size should I choose?
I can't answer that for you. Statistically, in the U.S. a 6" x 9" trim size is the most common, along with 5-1/2" x 8-1/2". The best answer is to look at other books in the same genre and choose whatever trim size most of them use.
Do you provide cover design services?
Not at this time. A lot of cover design today involves AI, and I have chosen not to bring AI into my work. I can recommend a cover artist whose services I have been happy with.
