About this gig
It´s the rhythm that makes music funky or not. I been playing music from James Brown, The Meters, George Clinton or Blood, Sweat & Tears for many years now and I´m totally in love with that special moment when you feel the groove.
I want to transport this feeling into your music - probably it`s already there...we`ll see :)
You can choose the sounds of the drums if you like. There are many possibilities from old school like Clide Stubblefield`s drums or modern sounds like Vulfpeck or the fearless flyers.
Or you can let me decide and just concentrate on your expertise.
In the end it will be funky as hell, that`s for sure!

Hey you, I`m recording drums & percussions since 20 years now. Growing up listening, playing and living with different styles between Folk, Classic, Jazz, Funk and Rock music inspired my playing and still is the motor of my profession.
Years of classical music school, studies at the swiss jazz college and the Drummer`s Collective NY gave me the chance to learn from the greatest.
I currently live in Berlin, where I´m working as a pro-drummer with many different artists, theaters and projects.
