I will build you a scroll driven animated website with gsap and webgl

About this gig
MOST WEBSITES SCROLL. A FEW MOVE.
You know the difference the moment you land on one. A section holds while the story keeps going. A product turns as you scroll and turns back when you scroll up. Type arrives instead of appearing.
That is what I build. Motion bound to scroll position, not to a clock pinned sections, scrubbed timelines, horizontal galleries driven by vertical scroll, masked text reveals, WebGL when the idea earns it.
Stack: GSAP + ScrollTrigger, Lenis, Three.js, vanilla JS or Next.js. No page builders, no templates.

Scroll it. That is the actual work, not a mockup.
WHY MOST ANIMATED SITES FAIL
Every element gets its own reveal, five effects stack on one screen, and it reads as noise. Movement without hierarchy is just movement.
So I work to a limit: two or three signature moves per site, chosen for the story. Everything else stays still on purpose.
Every build ships with a performance budget and full reduced-motion support. Motion should feel expensive, not run expensive.
BEFORE YOU ORDER
Send me a reference site you like. I will tell you how it is built and what it really costs. That is free.

FAQ
Will it work on mobile?
Yes, and not by shrinking the desktop version. Heavy scroll sequences are replaced with lighter equivalents on small screens — a pinned WebGL scene becomes a static composition with a simple reveal. Motion that feels premium on a laptop feels broken on a phone, so the two are designed separately.
Will all this animation slow my site down?
Only if it's built badly. I animate transform and opacity exclusively, which stay off the main thread and don't trigger layout. Assets are sized and lazy-loaded. I run a performance pass on Standard and Premium and will show you the numbers.
Do I need to provide content and images?
For the best result, yes — real copy and real photography always beat placeholders. If you don't have them yet I can build with structured placeholders and swap them later, but a site is only as good as what's in it.
What do you need from me to start?
1. A reference site or two you like 2. Your content — copy and images, or a note that they're coming 3. Which sections you need 4. Where it will be hosted That's it. I'll come back with the motion plan before writing any code.
What if a visitor has motion sensitivity?
Every build respects prefers-reduced-motion. When it's on, pinning and scrubbing switch off and the content sits still, complete and fully readable. It's not an afterthought — it's part of the build.
Do you use AI in your process?
Yes, as a tool — for scaffolding and iteration. The art direction, motion decisions and final craft are mine, and every build is made for your brand specifically. Happy to walk you through exactly where it's used.
