Are you planning to build and worried about costs going over? I can help. I am lucy, a quantity surveyor based in Kenya. For the last years i have delivered several projects; bungalows, maisonettes, apartments and shops, entertainment joints around Nanyuki, Nairobi and other towns. I help clients avoid costs overruns with accurate BOQs and cost saving advice.

What do you need to start my cost estimation or accurate takeoff ?
Just send me your Architectural drawings in PDF or DWG. If you have structural drawings too, even better. If you have a sketch, I can still do it, just message me first.
Do i use kenya rates or US/UK rates?
My default is Kenya market rates (all regions). But I can use US or UK rates if you tell me your location. I have delivered for clients in both.
What will you receive from me?
You will get a full BOQ in Excel and PDF, Construction drawings (architectural / structural) upon request. I have samples of projects I have worked on which I can share when you message me.
Can you assist kenyans living in Diaspora to build back home?
Absolutely yes. Most of my clients are Kenyans in US, UK and Canada building back home. I have done that before. I will help you get accurate costing so your fundi and family on the ground don't over charge you. I use current Kenya rates and share my portfolio samples when you message me.
Can i do urgent delivery?
Yes. Basic normal delievery is 3 days but i can deliver in 1 day for $40 extra. Standard and Premium also have fast delivery options. Message me if you need it urgently.
What software do i use for takeoff and drawings?
I use PlanSwift and Bluebeam for accurate quantity takeoff, and ArchiCAD/Revit/AutoCAD for construction drawings. Final BOQ is delivered in Excel and PDF.
What is the difference between BOQ, Material Schedule and labour schedule?
Material schedule = Only list of materials and quantities (cement, steel etc.) Labour schedule = Only Labour costs. Full BOQ = Complete document with built up rates (Material + Labour + wastage in one rate) and total amount. Rate is kenya or US/UK if you give location.
Can you order Material schedule or full BOQ in any package?
Yes. You can get Material Schedule, Labour Schedule or full BOQ in Basic, Standard or premium. Price depends on house size. My full BOQ rates are built up rates. Just message me.
