I will perform languaje interpretation services in person

About this gig
Since more than a decade, I have been providing language interpretetation services tailored to the needs of each circumstance. I work both on the booth and outside of it across all areas of expertise.
I can also guide you through your staff and equipment needs in order to ensure the best possible experience both for you and your audience.
If you need equipment, such as receivers, booths, body packs, audio for rooms, I can work with several vendors to help you with your needs.
According to different guidelines, interpreters work in pairs. Exceptions to the pair policy are possible, but the event cannot last more than 2 hours.

FAQ
Do I need to provide interpretation equipment?
You are welcome to provide your own equipment or contact an independent vendor, However, I need to verify that the equipment is fit for the task. I can gladly help you in finding the right equipment at the best possible price for you!
How do you manage sensitive topics?
Secrecy is a core element of my personal and professional ethos. Therefore, I do not make public in social media or elsewhere my work nor the contents of it. I also ask the same of my colleagues and vendors whenever I am in charge. If necessary, I can sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
Do you interpret only to Spanish/English?
All interpretation services are done both ways: whenever someone needs to understand speech in English, we interpret to English. We then switch to Spanish whenever the need changes.
Do you provide invoices?
Yes, I provide invoices issued in Mexico
How much time do you need to prepare for an interpretation?
Ideally, interpreters need as much time as possible perform the services to the best of our ability. A week beforehand is the sweet spot, a couple days before the event is ok, but a day before severely hampers our preparation process.
What marerial do you need to prepare for an interpretation?
Myself and my other interpreter colleague need all the relevant content that will be discussed in the workspace, along with background information.
