I will merge or convert your CSV and excel files
About this Gig
I merge or convert simple, non-sensitive UTF-8 CSV/XLSX files using AI-assisted tools/scripts, then check row counts and output values.
For $10, send up to 5 files with a combined limit of 5,000 data rows, 20 columns and 5 MB (5,000,000 bytes). Headers are excluded from the row count. Each XLSX must contain one values-only sheet.
Choose one task:
- Append rows from files with identical headers in the same column order, in your specified file order.
- Convert CSV to XLSX or XLSX to CSV.
Receive the merged/converted file(s) plus a short input/output row-count report. Delivery: 2 days after complete requirements; 1 revision on the original files and agreed instructions.
No data cleaning, duplicate removal, error correction, ID joins, fuzzy matching, macros, formulas, complex formatting, merged/multiline cells or multiple sheets. Existing duplicates stay.
IDs are handled as text; CSV must be imported as Text to avoid Excel changing leading zeros.
Share only authorized, non-sensitive data. No personal, confidential, financial, medical, credential or identity data.
Gallery examples use synthetic data, not client work.

FAQ
How is this different from data cleaning?
This service changes the file format or appends rows. It does not remove duplicates, correct values, standardize dates, trim spaces, match IDs or merge records by key. Input values and existing duplicate rows stay as supplied.
Will IDs, dates and text be preserved?
Text values, including leading-zero IDs, stay as text. CSV has no cell types: import ID columns as Text, not by double-clicking. Date or ID values that rely on Excel number formats need agreed conversion rules first. I do not guess dates, encodings or missing values.
What files are supported, and what does a revision cover?
Use UTF-8 CSV or one-sheet values-only XLSX with matching headers for append. No formulas, macros, merged/multiline cells, hidden/protected sheets or external links. One revision fixes the original agreed task on the original files; new sources or a different task need a new agreement.
