For developmental editing, I will carefully read your novel, short story, or excerpt and provide inline commentary as well as a detailed editorial letter. Inline commentary will include suggestions for possible rewrites and highlight areas I think could be further developed or improved upon. I will also highlight areas where I believe your writing shines through, so you have a better understanding of what is working throughout your manuscript.
For developmental edits, I will pay special attention to the bigger picture of your work. This is not a copyedit or proofread, but instead, I will offer an assessment of the following areas:

What genres do you edit?
Any! I can edit anything from sci-fi to romance to literary fiction. I have experience editing creative non-fiction, too.
Do you edit explicit work?
Yes! Nothing will turn me away from your manuscript, as long as it is not deliberately offensive or problematic. I can edit erotica, dark romance, extreme horror, smut, or anything along those lines with no problem. However, if your work contains triggering aspects, please let me know beforehand!
