FAQ
Which documents can the chatbot use?
PDF, Word and plain text files. Scanned PDFs (images) may not work well, so please send text-based files if possible.
Who pays for the API / AI model costs?
You do. I set up the chatbot with your own OpenAI or Gemini API key. If you prefer no API cost, I can use a local model (Ollama), but it needs a computer that can run it.
Is my data safe?
I only use your files to build and test your chatbot, and I don't share them with anyone. With a local model, your documents never leave your computer. With cloud APIs, they follow that provider's data policy.
Will the chatbot always give correct answers?
It answers from your documents, which makes it much more accurate than a normal chatbot. But like any AI, it can sometimes make mistakes, so I test it on sample questions you provide before delivery.
How do I run the chatbot after delivery?
I include the full source code and a short step-by-step setup guide. If you get stuck while following it, message me and I'll help
