Because of what I am: Home Assistant runs in my own home on the same stack I set up for you, and I am a trained electrician, so I understand your devices, wiring and protocols better than most IT people. Everything documented, nothing left as a black box. Basic is priced as a small first job on purpose.

Which hardware do you recommend?
A used mini PC (from ~$100) beats a Raspberry Pi for smooth performance. Tell me your budget and devices and I'll recommend something realistic before you order.
Can you set up Zigbee/Z-Wave remotely?
Yes - you plug the stick in, I configure everything (Zigbee2MQTT/ZHA) and guide you through pairing your devices in chat.
My existing Home Assistant is broken. Can you fix it?
Yes - check my server debugging gig for fixes, or order Standard here and I'll rebuild it cleanly with your config migrated.
Is remote access safe?
I set it up properly: valid SSL, strong auth, no open ports beyond what's needed. Optionally via Cloudflare Tunnel or Tailscale.
Do you offer ongoing care?
Yes - message me about monthly maintenance: updates, backups checked, monitoring.

Fair question. Basic is small on purpose, Fiverr holds your payment until you accept, and a revision is included. Send me your device list before you order: within a few replies you will see whether I know your gear. That is a better test than a star count.
Do I have to open my home network to the internet?
No. Basic stays purely local, inside your own network. If you want access from outside later, Standard adds it properly: valid SSL, strong authentication, no ports opened beyond what is needed, optionally via Cloudflare Tunnel or Tailscale. Your call, not a default.
