Your TTRPG character should shine. A great backstory is how that starts. I'll take your input, PC name, and general game world information and craft a beautiful backstory for you. It will be organized with an introduction, short- and long-term goals, history, and a clear reason for your character to have become an adventurer. And as a DM/GM myself, I will know what kinds of hooks your character's backstory can have that are gold mines to be exploited in the campaign.
There are three choices to be made: Your character's creation begins with a basic 250-word (or so) backstory full of detail and hooks. From there, going up a notch makes for a 500+ word backstory that will include richer detail and more for the DM to work with. For the full-on, game-ready, "this is a serious campaign" player, I can level it up by creating a full, detailed, rich, and unique backstory for you with 1,000 words or more.
Each comes with at least one revision round. Fixing any typos or misspelled words I may have missed does not count as a revision.

How long to get the backstory written and ready?
How much detail you give will determine how long the process takes. Usual responses are within one business day of purchase. I allow for two to give a little buffer.
What game systems are you proficient with?
I have been a player and Dungeon Master in Dungeons & Dragons 2E, 4E, and 5E (incl. 2024). I have also been a player and Game Master in Pathfinder 2e / 2e revised. I have been a player in several others including D&D 1E, 3E, GURPS, Starfinder, and a few others.
My DM/GM has made a fully homebrewed world. Can you create a character for it?
So long as I have details of that world, I can make your backstory fit it seamlessly. Having created many homebrews myself and played in many more, I'm familiar with how personal these settings can be and will work hard to make sure there's a mesh.
Will my backstory be tragic, full of tropes, or teenagery angst?
Not unless you want it to. I strive for rich, logical, and story-full backstories for my own characters and will give you nothing less.
