About me
Hi, I’m Zipporah, A beta reader with a Creative Writing degree from Stanford University (2021). I’m also a full-time college lecturer with over 6 years of teaching experience and a PhD in Sociolinguistics. I know how hard it is to judge your own story after reading it repeatedly. I read with fresh eyes, noticing where I’m hooked, confused, emotionally invested, or losing interest. I give honest feedback on plot, pacing, characters, dialogue, flow, and emotional impact across romance, dark romance, romantasy, fantasy, sci-fi, memoir, YA, and fiction. Message me for a fresh perspective.

As a freelance editorial specialist, I partner with authors to refine manuscripts before publication. I provide comprehensive beta reading, developmental editing, manuscript critiques, and query letter reviews, delivering detailed, actionable feedback that strengthens plot structure, pacing, character development, dialogue, emotional impact, and overall story flow. I work across romance, romantasy, fantasy, dark romance, sci-fi, YA, memoir, and fiction, helping authors identify hidden weaknesses, improve reader engagement, and confidently prepare their books for agents, publishers, or self-publication.
