I will update target api level 36, fix android app bugs, crashes and 16kb page size
About this Gig
Got a Google Play warning about target API level, a 16 KB page size notice, or an app that keeps crashing? I fix and update native Android apps written in Kotlin or Java.
What I do:
- Update targetSdk and compileSdk to API 36 and fix the errors that follow
- Make apps 16 KB page size compatible (native libraries, AGP and packaging)
- Fix crashes, ANRs, build and Gradle errors
- Upgrade Gradle, Android Gradle Plugin, Kotlin and libraries
- Fix Firebase, AdMob and Google Play Billing issues
Why work with me:
- I build and maintain Android apps for a software company, and the apps I work on already target API 36 on AGP 9
- I explain the cause, not only the fix
- You get the updated source code with a short note of every change
- Your keystore stays with you: you sign and upload, or use Play App Signing
Not sure which package fits? Send me your Play Console message or crash log before ordering and I will tell you the right package and delivery time.

FAQ
Do I need to give you my keystore or Play Console password?
No. I deliver the updated source code and a test build. You sign the release with your own keystore and upload it, or use Play App Signing. Your accounts and signing keys stay with you.
What do you need from me to start?
Your project source code (zip or Git repository access), the Play Console warning or crash log, and your current targetSdk. If the app uses Firebase or private APIs, please share a test setup so I can run it.
I got the target API level warning. Which package do I need?
Usually API 36 Update. If Play Console also shows a 16 KB page size warning, or your project uses old Gradle or AGP versions, choose Full Upgrade. Send me the warning before ordering and I will confirm.
What if the fix is bigger than my package?
I review your code before starting. If the work is larger than your package, I tell you first and send a custom offer. Nothing extra is charged without your approval.
Do you work on Java apps and older projects?
Yes. I work with both Kotlin and Java projects, including older apps on old Gradle versions that need a step-by-step upgrade.
