Why Tauri instead of Electron?
Tauri uses the OS webview with a Rust core, so apps are typically 10 to 30x smaller and use far less RAM. I have shipped both and will honestly tell you if your project is the rare case where Electron fits better.
Can you convert my existing web app (React, Vue, Svelte)?
Yes, that is one of the most common projects I do. Your existing frontend usually carries over with minor changes, and I add the native desktop layer around it.
Do I own the code?
Yes. Full source code and IP transfer in every package, including Basic.
Can the app work fully offline?
Yes. Local SQLite storage, on-device document parsing, and even local AI models are all possible. I also run a separate gig focused on offline AI apps if that is your main need.
Which OSes do you support?
Windows and macOS in Standard, plus Linux in Premium or as an extra.
