How do I know if my site actually has malware?
Common signs: a Google 'this site may be hacked' warning, a browser blacklist alert, your host suspending or warning you, strange redirects, spam pages, or admin users you don't recognize. Not sure? Message me your site URL first.
My host suspended or took my site offline. Can you still help?
Yes. If I can't reach your site directly, I can usually work from a backup or ask your host to restore temporary access so I can clean it and get it back online.
Will you get the blacklist warning removed?
Yes, from the Standard package up: once the site is cleaned, I submit it for review to Google Safe Browsing and other blacklist authorities so the warning is lifted.
Will a security plugin or firewall service cost extra?
Most security plugins I use are free. If your site needs a premium firewall or scanning service for the best protection, I'll tell you the cost upfront and you pay that provider directly.
Is cleaning my site risky? Could I lose data?
I take a full backup before making any changes and work from a copy wherever possible, so we can always roll back. Only malicious code is touched, never your real content.
What do you need from me to start?
WordPress admin access, or hosting/cPanel/FTP access if you're locked out or the site is down. Tell me what symptoms you're seeing and I'll start with a full scan.
Do you offer ongoing protection after the cleanup?
Premium includes 30 days of monitoring and re-cleaning if anything returns. For longer-term care, I also offer separate WordPress maintenance and speed optimization gigs on my profile.
My site is slow or buggy but not hacked, can you help?
This gig is specifically for malware and hacked-site cleanup. For general bugs, errors or slow performance, see my other WordPress and WooCommerce fix or speed-optimization gigs instead.
Can you clean a site that isn't WordPress or WooCommerce?
