Why do I need Server-Side Tracking if I already have the Meta Pixel?
The standard Pixel is "Browser-side." It is easily blocked by ad-blockers and Apple's Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP). Server-side tracking (CAPI) sends data directly to Meta, recovering lost conversions and training the algorithm faster.
What is "Deduplication" and why does it matter?
When we setup CAPI, we send events from both the browser and the server. Without deduplication, Meta would count every sale twice. I use unique Event IDs to ensure Meta only counts each conversion once while getting the most accurate data possible.
Which platform do you recommend for the server?
I recommend Stape.io for most E-commerce owners. It is easier to manage and more cost-effective than a raw Google Cloud setup for small-to-medium businesses. I can help you set up the account during the gig.
